Spartan volleyball on 8-game win streak

St. Joseph-Ogden extended its volleyball winning streak to eight matches on Thursday (Sept. 21) with a two-set sweep at Pontiac, 25-17, 25-17.

The senior trio of Katie Ericksen, Peyton Williams and Halle Brazelton combined for 27 digs. Ericksen recorded 10 digs, Williams had nine and Brazelton eight.

Addie Roesch sparked the offense with nine kills. Both Williams and Ava Seggebruch contributed five kills apiece.

Brazelton handed out 15 assists and Williams served two aces.

Roesch ended with four digs, two aces and one block. Seggebruch also totaled two digs.

SJ-O (17-2) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 25) at Chillicothe IVC.
