Mustangs open season with back-to-back victories

Prairieview Ogden’s eighth-grade girls’ basketball team opened the season with back-to-back victories.
In their first game, the Mustangs toppled Cissna Park, 42-16, on Tuesday (Sept.19). They followed that up with a 45-10 triumph over Chrisman on Thursday (Sept 21).
Against Cissna Park, Atleigh Miller tossed in 21 points. Kellyn Irwin added seven points.
Miller and Irwin were the leaders against Chrisman, tallying 18 and 13 points, respectively.
The PVO seventh-graders started the season by splitting the first two games.
The Mustangs suffered a 22-18 loss to Cissna Park, but overpowered Chrisman, 32-1.
Kolbie Busboom made six points and Sydney Abernathy had four points against Cissna Park.
Against Chrisman, Ella Mohr led the way with 10 points. Both Abernathy and Busboom finished with eight points apiece.
