The Heritage boys’ cross-country team captured second place on Saturday (Sept. 30) in the Lincoln Prairie Conference meet at Toledo Cumberland.
Clark Roland (third place on the 3-mile course in 16 minutes and 48 seconds) and Eli Denmark-Collins (eighth in 17:59) earned all-conference honors.
The Hawks’ other varsity runners were Aidan Ashbrook (18:28), Cohen Sands (18:50), Josh Stierwalt (19:26) and Hunter Montgomery (19:38).
Heritage had one all-conference runner in the girls’ race. Lillian Montgomery finished fifth in 23:01.
Heritage will return to action on Thursday (Oct. 2) in a meet at Homer.
