SJO Volleyball wins four at Quincy Invite

St. Joseph-Ogden’s volleyball team won four of five matches on Saturday (Oct. 7) at the Quincy Invitational.
After falling to Hannibal (Mo.), 22-25, 26-24, 15-13, the Spartans won four straight-set matches.
SJ-O handled West Prairie, 25-22, 25-21, the Quincy junior varsity, 25-15, 25-20, Jacksonville, 25-21, 25-22, and Macomb, 25-23, 25-21.
For the day, Halle Brazelton posted 107 assists and 48 digs.
Sadie Ericksen totaled 45 digs. Addie Roesch contributed 42 digs and Peyton Williams added 28 digs.
Roesch pounded 41 kills and registered seven service aces and four blocks. Williams ended with 38 kills, four aces and two blocks.
On Thursday (Oct. 5), Roesch smashed 12 kills and added five digs as SJ-O won at Salt Fork, 25-6, 25-12.
Williams added five kills. Brazelton totaled 18 assists and six digs.
SJ-O (25-4) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 10) at home against Prairie Central.
