Spartans end regular season with loss to BCC

St. Joseph-Ogden dropped a two-set decision on Thursday (Oct. 19) at Bloomington Central Catholic, 25-13, 25-17.

Addie Roesch led the Spartans with seven kills and six digs. Halle Brazelton doled out eight assists.

SJ-O (28-5) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 24) in a semifinal match of the Watseka Class 2A Regional. The top-seeded Spartans will play the winner of a match between eighth-seeded Hoopeston Area and 11^th-seeded Iroquois West.

SJ-O did not play Iroquois West in the regular season but swept Hoopeston Area in September for what was coach Abby McDonald’s 400^th career win.
