Panthers edge out Danville North Ridge

Brooklyn Stevens scored 10 points on Tuesday (Oct. 24) as the eighth-grade St. Joseph Panthers’ girls’ basketball team clinched a 24-22 victory at Danville North Ridge.

Megan Kearney and Ainsley Dirksmeyer each tallied four points. Avery Haley contributed three points, Lyla Patton had two points and Addison Knight finished with one point.

On Tuesday (Oct. 17), St. Joseph posted a 29-20 win at home over Prairieview Ogden.

Kearney and Vivian Smith each scored eight points, Dirksmeyer collected five points, Stevens hit four points. Notching two points apiece were Addison Knight and Avery Lappin.

St. Joseph (7-8) returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 26) at Rantoul Eater.
