Senior Lillian Montgomery was the lone Heritage competitor on Saturday (Oct. 28) in the IHSA Class 1A Decatur Sectional.
Montgomery was timed in 22 minutes, 44.83 seconds in the 3-mile race held at South Shores Park. She finished in 89th place in a race with 148 participants and did not advance to the state finals.
