Registration for the Oakwood Area Food Pantry’s 10th Annual 5K Turkey Trot on Nov. 18 is open.
The event, which begins at 9 a.m., begins and ends at the Oakwood Food Pantry, which is located at 202 S. Scott St. in Oakwood. Virtual participation is also available.
Registrations must be received by Nov. 4 to get a race shirt and medal. In addition to the trophies, there will be drawings for door prizes.
All proceeds will go toward serving residents in Oakwood, Fithian, Muncie, Catlin, Sidell, Fairmount, and Indianola.
The Pantry is also looking for business and organization sponsors for the event. Donors will be featured on marketing materials, the race route sign, and acknowledged on social media.
