Freshman Clark Roland finished 66th on Saturday (Nov. 4) in the 256-runner Class 1A IHSA boys’ cross-country state meet at Detweiller Park, in Peoria.
Roland’s 3-mile time was 16 minutes, 1.60 seconds. Among freshmen at state, Roland was the sixth finisher.
The team champion was Tuscola (97 points), followed by Benton (104 points), Elmwood (166 points) and Niles Northridge Prep (202 points).
