Freshman Addi Hopper scored 14 points for the Heritage girls’ basketball team, which dropped a 66-35 decision at home to Westville on Monday (Nov. 13) in the season-opener for both schools.
Freshman Brooklyn Powell also reached double figures in scoring with 12 points. She had eight in the opening quarter.
Westville led 18-13 after one quarter.
Loran Tate hit five points and Bri Ploense contributed four points for the Hawks.
Heritage (0-1) returns to action on Thursday (Nov. 16) at home against Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
