Powell leads Hawks against Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Brooklyn Powell posted her second consecutive double-digit scoring game on Thursday (Nov. 16), but the Heritage girls’ basketball team fell at home to Georgetown-Ridge Farm, 54-19.
Powell netted a team-high 12 points. Bri Ploense contributed four points and Addi Hopper added three points. Both Ploense and Hopper hit three-pointers.
On Saturday (Nov. 18), the Hawks dropped a 58-10 decision to Covington, Ind, in first-round action of the Comet Classic at Oakwood High School.
Loran Tate led Heritage with five points. Powell made three points and Bailey Lubben chipped in with two points.
Heritage (0-3) return to action on Tuesday (Nov. 21) against Casey-Westfield in second-round action of the Comet Classic.
