Jacob Bensyl made a season-high 17 points on Tuesday (Nov. 28) as the Heritage Hawks made their home-opener a successful one, decisioning Urbana Uni High, 64-44.
Also scoring in double figures for the Hawks were Brennan Struck and Rylan White, with 12 points apiece.
Destin Nickle contributed nine points. Clark Roland scored eight points. Brayden Jones notched six points and Anthony Happ added two points.
Heritage opened up a 21-11 lead after one quarter and expanded its margin to 37-16 at halftime.
The Hawks (2-3) return to action on Saturday (Dec. 2) at Chrisman and will try to extend their winning streak to three games.
