Nikita Taylor tallied 16 points and Jaydah Arrowsmith netted 14 points on Monday (Nov. 27) for Oakwood, which suffered a 51-44 loss at home to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond in girls’ basketball.

Mady Nicoson contributed six points, Gracie Hanner had four points and Taylor Smoot notched one free throw.

A-L/A-H built a 16-12 lead after one quarter and led at halftime, 25-21.

Oakwood (2-4) returns to action on Thursday (Nov. 30) at Rantoul.
