Jaydah Arrowsmith netted a game-high 15 points on Monday (Dec. 4), but Oakwood lost a Vermilion Valley Conference girls’ basketball game at home to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, 39-34.
The Comets took a 27-22 lead into the fourth quarter.
Nikita Taylor contributed eight points for Oakwood. Gracie Hanner and Mady Nicoson each scored four points while Taylor Smoot collected three points.
The Comets (3-5) return to action on Thursday (Dec. 7) at home against Armstrong-Potomac.
