Frick and Martinie lead Spartans against Teutopolis

Addison Frick and Addy Martinie combined for 35 points on Thursday (Dec. 7), but St. Joseph-Ogden’s girls’ basketball team fell just short at home to Teutopolis, 54-50.

Frick hit 18 points and Martinie recorded 17 points.

SJ-O meshed nine three-pointers in the game, including four by Martinie and three by Frick.

The Spartans received eight points from Addison Seggebruch and five points from Katie Ericksen. Sara Kearney contributed two points.

Ericksen and Seggebruch each made one three-point shot.

SJ-O (2-4) returns to action on Monday (Dec. 11) at Peoria Richwoods.
