Bri Ploense scored a season-high 10 points on Monday (Dec. 11), but the Heritage girls’ basketball team dropped a 37-33 overtime decision at Villa Grove.

Adding seven points apiece were Brooklyn Powell and Loran Tate. Gracie Tate hit five points. Netting two points apiece were Addi Hopper and Bailey Lubben.

The Hawks outscored Villa Grove, 9-5, in the fourth quarter to force OT.

Heritage (1-11) returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 14) at home against Arcola.
