Arcola scored 20 first-quarter points on Thursday (Dec. 14) and defeated Heritage, 62-11, in a girls’ basketball game at Broadlands.
Addi Hopper led the Hawks with four points. Loran Tate chipped in with three points. Scoring two points apiece were Brooklyn Powell and Gracie Tate.
Heritage (1-13) returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 21) in the 6 p.m. game at the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Tournament against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg.
