Jasper Snyder scored a season-high 16 points on Monday (Dec. 11) as the St. Joseph seventh-grade boys’ basketball team downed Oakwood, 45-14, in a road game. Brock Franzen contributed 11 points.
The win followed a loss to Springfield Charter, 44-23, when Franzen hit seven points and Ike Shelato added six points.
On Tuesday (Dec. 12), the Panthers suffered a 40-19 loss at home against Mahomet-Seymour. Franzen registered six points.
St. Joseph (13-3) returns to action on Monday (Jan. 8) at Prairieview Ogden.
I really enjoy reading the little articles about the St. Joseph Middle School sports. I’m curious as to why there are no articles about the 8th grade boys basketball team.
