Villa Grove defeats Heritage boys’ basketball

Rylan White scored 19 points on Tuesday (Dec. 19), but Heritage dropped a 67-55 decision at home to Villa Grove in a boys’ basketball game.

Jacob Bensyl made 10 points for the Hawks and Brennan Struck finished with nine points. Clark Roland bagged two three-point shots and tallied eight points.

James Dillon contributed four points. Destin Nickle and Anthony Happ each added two points while Brayden Jones hit one free throw.

Heritage (2-9) returns to action in the Bismarck-Henning/Heritage Christmas Tournament on Wednesday (Dec. 27). The Hawks will play Armstrong-Potomac at 11:30 a.m. and face Salt Fork at 7 p.m., with both games being played at Heritage High School.
