St. Joseph boys’ basketball finishes 2023 with two wins

The St. Joseph seventh-grade boys’ basketball team finished the 2023 portion of its schedule with back-to-back wins.
The Panthers upended Paris, 37-32, on Thursday (Dec. 14). Kyler Smith led the way with 11 points and St. Joseph teammate Landyn Thome chipped in with 10 points.
On Saturday (Dec. 16), the Panthers topped Prairie Central, 44-28. Brock Franzen totaled a team-high 16 points and Kip Rosenthal netted 11 points.
St. Joseph (15-4) is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 10) at home against Mount Zion.
