Comets outlast Milford at home

Jaydah Arrowsmith connected for a game-high 22 points on Monday (Jan. 8) as Oakwood won its second game in five days, 38-34, at home over Milford.
The Comets trailed, 9-6, after one quarter and 16-15 at halftime.
Arrowsmith netted six of her points during Oakwood’s 14-6 surge that put the Comets into the lead.
Gracie Hanner hit seven points and Bella Bradford added three points. Contributing two points apiece were Taylor Smoot, Nikita Taylor and Rylee Wright.
The Comets (7-14) are scheduled to return to action on Thursday at Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
