SJ-O boys’ basketball defeats Prairie Central

Tanner Jacob scored 17 points and Tanner Siems added 16 points on Tuesday (Jan. 16) as the St. Joseph-Ogden boys’ basketball team topped Prairie Central, 64-39, in Fairbury.

Coy Taylor hit nine points and Logan Smith bucketed eight points to go with a game-high 10 assists. Luke Landrus made five points and Collin Thomey contributed four points. Ryker Lockhart ended with three points and Will Haley had two points.

Jacob meshed three three-point shots. Converting one each were Siems and Thomey.

Smith pulled down seven rebounds and Siems cleared six rebounds. Jacob recorded three steals and Taylor dished out three assists.

SJ-O (15-4) returns to action on Friday (Jan. 19) against Chillicothe IVC.
