Heritage drops first-round game of Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament

Heritage couldn’t hold onto a first-quarter lead on Friday (Jan. 19) and dropped a first-round decision in the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament at Villa Grove, 71-34.

The Hawks held a 12-11 lead after one quarter.

Rylan White led Heritage with 17 points, including two baskets from three-point range.

Brennan Struck scored seven points. Jacob Bensyl and Clark Roland each contributed three points. Destin Nickle and Landen Gore tallied two points.

The Hawks (2-19) return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 24) at Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond against Tri-County.
