Heritage JH basketball heads into postseason play

The Heritage seventh-graders lost their regular-season finale on Thursday (Jan. 18) at Prairieview Ogden, 44-16, and then dropped a first-round decision in the IESA Class 1A regional tournament at Martinsville on Saturday (Jan. 20) to the host school, 37-13.
Against PVO, Bryson Warren scored eight points and Joao Vega contributed six points.
Heritage ends the season with a 4-14 overall record.

The Heritage eighth-graders were beaten at PVO, 50-35, on Thursday (Jan. 18).
Landin McComas led the way with 12 points. Teammate Christian Paul finished with nine points.
The eighth-graders are 8-10 and return to action on Saturday (Jan. 27) at Hume against fifth-seeded Kansas. Heritage is the No. 4 seed.
