Coy Hayes (150 pounds) and Quincy Jones (285 pounds) closed out the regular season on Wednesday (Jan. 24) with pins for the St. Joseph-Ogden wrestling team, which suffered a 43-26 dual-meet loss at home to Champaign Central.

Hayes’ pin came in 1:46. Jones needed 2:53 to register his pin.

Other SJ-O winners were Holden Brazelton (16-1 technical fall at 132 pounds), Corbin Smith (13-10 decision at 190 pounds) and Brodie Harms (by forfeit at 215 pounds).

SJ-O (22-13) returns to action on Saturday (Feb. 3) in an IHSA Class 1A 11-team regional tournament at Tolono Unity.
