Spartans roll past St. Thomas More

Tanner Jacob and Tanner Siems each scored 15 points on Tuesday (Jan. 23) as the St. Joseph-Ogden boys’ basketball team rolled past visiting St. Thomas More, 64-30.
Collin Thomey netted a season-high 12 points and pulled down a team-best five rebounds. Luke Landrus totaled seven points and Coy Taylor finished with six points.
Logan Lackey and Kody McKinney both netted three points. Tim Blackburn-Kelley made two points and Logan Smith hit a free throw.
Smith produced a team-high six assists and grabbed four rebounds.
Jacob and Taylor each downed two three-point shots. Hitting once shot from behind the arc were Lackey, McKinney, Siems and Thomey.
SJ-O (17-5) is 3-0 in Illini Prairie Conference contests. The Spartans return to action on Friday (Jan. 26) at Monticello.
