Jaydah Arrowsmith scored 22 points on Monday (Jan. 29) as the Oakwood girls’ basketball team stretched its winning streak to four games with a 49-39 victory at home over Iroquois West.
Arrowsmith has hit the 20-point mark in four of her last eight games and six times overall for the season.
Gracie Hanner added a season-high 13 points.
Nikita Taylor netted seven points. Bella Bradford chipped in with three points. Both Luci Morris and Rylee Wright finished with two points.
The teams were tied, 11-11, after one quarter, but the Comets forged a 21-19 lead by halftime.
Oakwood (11-17) returns to action on Thursday (Feb. 1) at home against Vermilion Valley Conference leader Salt Fork.
