Salt Fork defeats Oakwood girls’ basketball

Jaydah Arrowsmith hit a team-high 13 points on Thursday (Feb. 1) at home, but the Oakwood girls’ basketball team dropped a 44-26 decision to Salt Fork’s Vermilion Valley Conference leaders.
Arrowsmith netted both of her team’s three-pointers.
Nikita Taylor scored five points. Gracie Hanner and Taylor Smoot each finished with three points. Bella Bradford made two points.
On Friday (Feb. 2), the Comets took a 51-19 loss at Cissna Park.
Arrowsmith led Oakwood with 11 points. Taylor notched three points, Bradford hit two points as did Emma Koontz. Luci Morris made one point.
Oakwood (11-19) returns to action on Monday (Feb. 5) at Schlarman Academy, in Danville, in its regular-season finale.
