All five starters on a 25-win Oakwood boys’ basketball team earned recognition on one of the all-Vermilion County teams that were selected by the coaches.
The 10-player first team featured Alec Harrison and Jackson Dudley. The eight-player second team included Carsen Dudley and Brody Taflinger. The six-player honorable mention unit had Cort Vermillion as one of its members.
In separate voting, three Comets earned mention on one of the all-Vermilion Valley Conference teams.
Harrison was the school’s lone representative on the five-player first unit. Jackson Dudley was one of six athletes honored on the third team. Carsen Dudley was chosen for the 13-player honorable mention squad.
Carsen Dudley was the lone freshman to be honored by the VVC coaches.
