Blackburn-Kelly Shines as St. Joseph-Ogden Softball Rolls Over Eureka with a 15-2 Win

Timera Blackburn-Kelly pitched a five-inning complete game on Wednesday (April 10) as the St. Joseph-Ogden softball team powered its way to a 15-2 victory at Eureka.
Blackburn-Kelly yielded five hits and walked no one. She recorded nine strikeouts. In 36 innings to date, Blackburn-Kelly has a 1.17 earned run average and 59 strikeouts.
Pacing the offense were Hayden Dahl (two hits and four RBI), Chloe Harper (two hits) and Kenzie Atwood (two RBI).
Addy Martinie tallied four runs. Crossing home plate twice apiece were Blackburn-Kelly, Halle Brazelton and Ellie Ward.
On Monday (April 8), the Spartans were defeated by Olympia, 9-3, in Stanford.
Addison Frick socked two hits, Martinie drove in two runs and Grace Osterbur tallied two runs.
Madison Stevens pitched four innings and took the loss. Amelia Huckstadt worked the last two innings.
SJ-O (10-4) returns to action on Thursday (April 11) at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
