St. Joseph-Ogden Triumphs in High-Scoring Game, Extends Win Streak to Five

Nolan Earley collected three hits, Tanner Jacob scored three runs and Braxton Waller knocked in three runs on Friday (April 12) as the St. Joseph-Ogden baseball team posted a 13-9 victory at Normal University High.
Luke Landrus pitched 4 1/3 innings of relief for Earley and captured the win. Landrus permitted three hits and three walks while striking out six batters.
Bryson Houchens, Kodey McKinney, Landrus, Logan Rosenthal and Waller all ripped two hits. Jared Altenbaumer and Will Halley both cracked one hit.
Earley and Landrus each drove in two runs. Haley and Landrus both tallied two runs.
SJ-O (16-2) has won five games in a row and returns to action on Monday (April 15) at Prairie Central.
