Addy Martinie Powers St. Joseph-Ogden to Decisive 11-4 Win Over Mahomet-Seymour with Home Run Streak

Addy Martinie slugged her sixth home run in her last six games on Thursday (April 25) as St. Joseph-Ogden kayoed Mahomet-Seymour, 11-4, in a non-conference softball game at Randy Wolken Field.
Martinie and Grace Osterbur each stroked three hits. Martinie also pounded a double and drove in four runs. Osterbur hit a triple.
Halle Brazelton and Emma McKinney both finished with two hits. Hayden Dahl and Chloe Harper contributed one hit apiece.
Dahl delivered two RBI. Brazelton and McKinney each knocked in one run.
Martinie and Osterbur both crossed home plate three times. Scoring one run each were Dahl, McKinney and Ellie Ward.
Timera Blackburn-Kelley (9-1) pitched a complete-game six-hitter. She issued one walk and struck out six.
SJ-O (19-6) returns to action on Monday (April 29) at home against Monticello.
