Heritage Baseball Faces Tough Losses at Villa Grove and Sullivan

Zaien Smith was the lone Heritage baserunner on Thursday (April 25) in the Hawks’ 10-0 baseball loss at Villa Grove.
Smith reached with a single.
Rylan White pitched three innings, walking one and striking out four. He suffered the loss. Robert Holloman worked the final inning and recorded one strikeout.
On Friday (April 26), the Hawks dropped a 10-0 decision at Sullivan in a game that was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning.
White (a single) and Brennan Struck (a walk) were the Heritage players to reach base. Anthony Happ pitched 3 1/3 innings. He issued one walk and struck out three batters.
Heritage (1-16), which picked up a forfeit win from Blue Ridge on Monday (April 22), returns to action on Monday (April 29) at home against Toledo Cumberland.
