Loran Tate Clinches Victory in Triple Jump at Monticello Invitational

Loran Tate was the individual winner in the triple jump on Friday (April 26) in the 19-school Monticello girls’ track and field invitational.
She stood in third place entering her final attempt, which was measured at 34 feet, 7 inches. There were 18 competitors in the event.
Tate also finished in eighth place in the 200 meters (29.35 seconds).
Heritage placed 14th with 10 points. Meet champion Normal University High totaled 102 points.
The Hawks will return to action on Monday (April 29) at Tuscola.
