Salt Fork Shuts Out Heritage 5-0 in Regional Baseball Opener

Salt Fork shut out visiting Heritage, 5-0, on Monday (May 13) in a first-round Class 1A regional baseball game.
The Hawks were limited to singles by Brennan Struck, Anthony Happ and Robert Holloman.
Happ pitched six innings, striking out eight and permitting four hits.
Heritage ends the season with a 2-21 overall record.
Holloman (.324)) was the team’s top hitter.
He shared the team-lead for runs batted in with Struck and Rylan White. All had eight.
Zaien Smith (14) set the pace for runs scored, followed by Holloman (10).
Holloman also led in stolen bases (six) and extra-base hits (four).
White (14 games) and Happ (13) led the team in pitching appearances.
White (49) and Happ (48) registered the most strikeouts.
