Timera Blackburn-Kelly Leads St. Joseph-Ogden Softball to Third Straight Shutout in Regional Semifinal Win Over Toledo Cumberland

Timera Blackburn-Kelly pitched St. Joseph-Ogden’s third consecutive softball shutout on Tuesday (May 14) as the Spartans blanked visiting Toledo Cumberland, 4-0, in a Class 2A regional semifinal contest.
Blackburn-Kelly (13-1) allowed five hits. She issued one walk and struck out 13 hitters.
Hayden Dahl stroked two hits and knocked in two runs for SJ-O. Halle Brazelton, Addison Frick and Grace Osterbur all landed one hit. Brazelton delivered one RBI.
Addy Martinie tallied two runs while teammates Frick and Osterbur both scored once.
SJ-O (29-6) carries a 13-game winning streak into the Saturday (May 18) regional championship game at home on Randy Wolken Field against Tolono Unity.
When the schools played in the regular season, SJ-O logged a 2-0 victory.
