Samantha Dunavan and Gracie Enos Secure First-Team Spots on All-Vermilion County Softball Team

Two Oakwood High School athletes – junior Samantha Dunavan and senior Gracie Enos – earned first-team berths on the all-Vermilion County softball team.
A total of 14 players were picked for the first team.
One other Oakwood player, sophomore Caydence Vermillion, was placed on the six-player honorable mention all-County list.
In separate voting for the Vermilion Valley’s all-conference team, Dunavan garnered second-team accolades and Enos received honorable mention status.
Dunavan hit .425 for the 8-20 Comets and stole 11 bases. Enos recorded a .400 season batting average and clubbed three home runs. Vermillion batted .290 and knocked in 16 runs.
