Mannheim Steamroller 2024 Christmas Tour
Chip Davis, the founder and creator of Mannheim Steamroller, celebrates over 35 years of his annual Christmas concert tour, marking it as the longest-running concert tour in the entertainment industry.
“I remember when I came out with my first Christmas album in 1984 followed by our first tour. Back then, many in the music industry said focusing on Christmas just wouldn’t work,” Davis reflected. “Now, over 35 years later, we are still going strong. I want to thank our fans for making us part of their holiday tradition. Today we often see multi-generational families join us during the holidays each year.”
In 1974, Davis founded his own record label, American Gramaphone, which has become one of the industry’s largest independent record labels. Mannheim Steamroller, a Grammy Award-winning group, has sold over 41 million albums, with more than 31.5 million in the Christmas genre alone. Their holiday CDs have become synonymous with Christmas, consistently topping Billboard’s Seasonal Chart each year.
This year’s concert will showcase classic Christmas favorites accompanied by multimedia effects, featuring 15 musicians playing over 20 instruments. The intimate setting, enhanced by dazzling multimedia effects, will capture the spirit of the season, offering an immersive experience for attendees. Davis will direct and co-produce the tour performances with MagicSpace Entertainment.
