Senior Logan Mills’ Hat Trick Powers St. Joseph-Ogden Soccer to Dominant 9-0 Win Over Argenta-Oreana

Senior Logan Mills delivered a hat trick on Tuesday (Aug. 27) as the St. Joseph-Ogden soccer team shut out visiting Argenta-Oreana, 9-0.
Mills also had an assist.
Zach Harper netted two goals and Nico Harris totaled two assists. Both Quinn Stahl and Yadi Acosta finished with one goal and one assist.
Branson Pearman and Alex Acosta each made one goal. Hunter Cler contributed one assist.
Goalkeeper Jaxson Colvin produced the shutout and collected two saves.
On Monday (Aug. 26), Harper scored on a second-half penalty kick for the Spartans, who dropped a 5-1 decision to visiting Oakwood/Salt Fork in the season-opener for both programs.
SJ-O held a 25-12 edge in total shots. Oakwood/Sat Fork led, 3-0, at halftime.
The Spartans (1-1) return to action on Thursday (Aug. 29) at Urbana Uni High.
