St. Joseph-Ogden Volleyball Opens Season with a Win Over Maroa-Forsyth, Falls to Armstrong-Potomac in Close Match

Emma McKinney distributed 11 assists on Monday (Aug. 26) as the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team opened the season with a 26-24, 19-25, 25-20 triumph at home over Maroa-Forsyth.
Katie Ericksen totaled 11 digs to go with three service aces. Tinley Ideus notched seven kills as well as eight digs. Reese Wheatley added five kills and three blocks. Addi Childers had four blocks and two kills.
On Tuesday (Aug. 27), the Spartan dropped a 25-22, 25-21 decision at home to Armstrong-Potomac (1-1).
SJ-O (1-1) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 29) at home against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
