Ericksen and Seggebruch Lead St. Joseph-Ogden Volleyball to Straight-Set Win Over Oakwood

Katie Ericksen and Ava Seggebruch each produced 13 digs on Wednesday (Sept. 11) as the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team left Oakwood with a 30-28, 25-21 victory.
Ally Schmitz had eight digs and Tinley Ideus had seven digs in the two-set sweep.
Seggebruch sparked the offense with seven kills. Adelyn Childers had five kills and Schmitz contributed three kills.
Childers and Reese Wheatley each finished with three blocks. Seggebruch served an ace. Emma McKinney connected for 10 assists and Addie Brooks totaled four assists.
On Monday (Sept. 9), the Spartans swept Decatur St. Teresa at home, 25-15, 25-22.
McKinney recorded a double-double with 12 assists and 16 digs. Seggebruch posted 10 kills and 15 digs as well as two blocks.
Ideus ended with four kills and six digs. Schmitz registered six kills, 10 digs, three assists and two aces. Ericksen had nine digs and Wheatley had three blocks.
S-JO (6-7) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 16) at Hoopeston Area.
