Franzen Leads St. Joseph-Ogden with 17th-Place Finish at Richard Spring Cross-Country Invitational

Savanna Franzen placed 17^th for St. Joseph-Ogden in a field of 424 runners on Saturday (Sept. 14) at the Richard Spring girls’ cross-country invitational at Peoria’s Detweiller Park.

Franzen’s 3-mile time was 18 minutes, 23.50 seconds.

Other Spartan finishers were Grace Bressner (39^th in 19:28.90), Abigail Bello (175^th in 22:17.80), Sydney Steinbach (256^th in 24:2.440) and Kiah Riesel (261^st in 24:25.70).

Team honors were captured by Williamsville with 181 points. SJ-O ended in 20^th place by 582 points.

SJ-O returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 17) at Monticello’s Lodge Park.
