Asher Pruemer Leads St. Joseph-Ogden Golf with Top-10 Finish at Champaign County Tournament

Asher Pruemer tied for 10th on Monday (Sept. 16) in the Champaign County boys’ golf tournament at Lincolnshire Fields Country Club.
Pruemer fired an 84.
Two teammates also placed among the top 25 in a meet where eight schools had entries.
Graham Ray shot a 90 and ended in 18th. Trevor Ames carded a 93 and wound up in 21st place.
Other Spartan scores were Garrett Loschen (98), Devan Swisher (101) and Wade Clark (106).
On Tuesday (Sept. 17), SJ-O was one of seven schools participating in the Tri-Valley Scramble.
Four-player teams from each school played a format consisting of three holes of scramble, three holes of best ball and three holes of total score.
Team honors went to LeRoy (78), followed by Ridgeview (80) and Tri-Valley (84). Tying for fifth were SJ-O and Olympia (89).
The Spartans were represented by Loschen, Pruemer, Ray and Swisher.
SJ-O returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 21) at Paris.
