St. Joseph-Ogden Boys’ Cross Country Takes Third at Spartan Classic, Jack Fisher Leads with Top-10 Finish

St. Joseph-Ogden’s boys’ cross-country team ran third in its own 28-school Spartan Classic meet on Saturday (Sept. 28).

Jack Fisher was the top SJ-O finisher, covering the 3-mile layout in 15 minutes, 43.97 seconds. He finished in ninth place.

Other team leaders were Lance Retz (33^rd in 16:21.42), E.J. Beckett (37^th in 16:31.49), Colin Burnett (44^th in 16:44.62), Eli Franklin (51^st in 16:58.06), Nate Farney (65^th in 17:17.93) and Joe Griebat (69^th in 17:20.48).

There were 195 finishers in the race.

SJ-O returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 5) at Terre Haute, Ind.
