Zach Harper’s Hat Trick Leads St. Joseph-Ogden to 6-1 Win Over Rantoul, Followed by 9-0 Shutout of St. Anne

Zach Harper’s sixth hat trick of the season on Thursday (Oct. 3) propelled the St. Joseph-Ogden team to a 6-1 victory at Rantoul.
Tyler Hess netted two goals and Alex Acosta scored once and assisted on two other goals.
Yadi Acosta and Logan Mills both added one assist.
Jaxson Colvin had nine saves.
On Friday (Oct. 4), SJ-O made St. Anne its 12th shutout victim of the season with a 9-0 win at home.
Mills became the third squad member (joining Harper and Alex Acosta) with a four-goal game. Mills also had an assist.
Scoring one goal apiece for SJ-O were Alex Acosta, Harper, Cooper Kietzman, Carson Sharp and Carter Turner.
Harper and Eli Birt contributed two assists. Quinn Stahl produced one assist.
St. Anne did not manage a shot on goal.
SJ-O (17-2-1) returns to action on Monday (Oct. 7) at home against Watseka. The Spartans have three matches remaining in the regular season.
