Parkland College to increase tuition fees in Summer 2025

The Parkland College Board of Trustees has voted to increase tuition and fees by 4.2% starting from the Summer 2025 term. This decision will affect students in District 505, who will now pay $186 per credit hour for tuition and fees, representing a $7.50 increase for most of the college’s program offerings.

While out-of-state and international students will not see a change in their base tuition rates, they will experience a $0.50 increase in their student activity fees. Additionally, some courses will now include book fees as part of the approved 2025-2026 course fee schedule.

This tuition increase comes after Parkland College kept tuition rates unchanged for the 2024-2025 academic year.
