The St. Joseph Community Festival is set to bring three days of excitement and celebration to the town from August 7 to 9, 2025, filling the St. Joseph Community Park and downtown area with festivities for all ages.
The festivities kick off Thursday evening at 5p.m. with the traditional American Legion Fish Fry, followed by the opening of carnival rides, vendors, and food that will continue through Saturday. Highlights for Thursday also include the Chamber of Commerce’s “Business of the Year” presentation at 5:45p.m., and the first of three nightly American Legion 50/50 drawings at 9p.m.
Friday afternoon begins with more fish fry at 4:30p.m. and a carnival running from 5 to 10p.m. At 5:45p.m., the Chamber of Commerce honors the “Citizen of the Year,” followed by the Little Prince and Princess contest at 6p.m. The FFA kiddie tractor pull starts at 6:30p.m., and local favorites Wreckless Whiskey perform in the IGA beer tent from 6 to 9p.m.
Saturday starts early, with a pancake breakfast at 7a.m. at the fire station, followed by a pickleball tournament at Kolb at 8a.m. and a mutt show at the high school at 10:30a.m. The downtown parade begins at 3p.m., “GDC performance” from 5 to 6p.m., and the American Legion Fish Fry at 4:30p.m. The evening rounds out with a bingo session at 5:30p.m., more carnival action, another 50/50 drawing at 9p.m., and a fireworks display at dusk. Owen Knap will perform in the IGA beer tent from 7 to 11p.m.
