The St. Joseph Women’s Community Club is offering another holiday activity for the St. Joseph community while also supporting local restaurants that have been impacted by COVID-19 mitigations.
The group has purchased $30 gift certificates from all of the 13 restaurants in St. Joseph and Ogden to be awarded to participants of the Christmas tree photo contest.
Here’s how it works:
1. Post a picture of your Christmas tree on the St. Joseph Women’s Club Facebook page. Only photos posted to the original raffle announcement on the Club’s page will be entered. Multiple photos will be accepted, as many people have multiple trees. However, each name will only be entered once.
2. On December 20th, 13 names will be randomly drawn from those who posted photos and each winner will receive one of the gift certificates. Restaurants included are Padano’s, Roch’s, China King, Dairy Queen, The Wheel House, Scratch, ElToro, Geschenk, Monical’s, Billy Bob’s, Pink Pig, Rich’s Restaurant, Mean Mugz Bar & Grill.
“What a joyful post this will be once it’s filled with your beautiful trees,” the Club wrote on their Facebook page. “We want our restaurants to know that we recognize their struggles. They are typically the first to offer gift cards or donations for local fundraising events so now it’s our turn to reciprocate! And if you participated in our Glo Bingo fundraiser, then YOU made this possible and for that, we thank you! Now, more than ever, it’s about community helping community.”
