Comets looking forward to rematch against Armstrong-Potomac
By Fred Kroner
Ashlynn Pinnick scored four points for the Comets on Thursday (Feb. 4) in a 44-5 Vermilion Valley Conference loss at Armstrong-Potomac.
Jaydah Arrowsmith added a free throw for Oakwood, which was held scoreless in the second half.
The game was Oakwood’s opener and replaced the originally scheduled opponent, Salt Fork, which had to postpone the game due to COVID-19 protocol.
The Comets have a home game, and a rematch, on Wednesday (Feb. 10) against A-P.
