Comets victorious in rematch against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin

Senior Aaron Dean stopped 10 shots on Thursday (March 27) and Oakwood avenged a previous soccer loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin by defeating the Blue Devils, 5-1, in a Vermilion Valley match in Oakwood.
Brady Tevebaugh landed a hat trick for the Comets. The team’s other two goals were scored by Sam Howie.
Howie scored the go-ahead goal – on an assist by Tevebaugh – to break a 1-1 first-half tie.
Grant Powell and Howie also had assists for the Comets.
B-H/R-A held an 11-10 edge in shots on goal.
During its four-match winning streak, Oakwood/Salt Fork has outscored its opponents 20-4.
The Comets (4-1) return to action on Monday (March 29) at home against Schlarman Academy.
